Students Participate in OBOK 2011
Students at J. L. Crowe in Trail look at the OBOK nominees donated to them by Beaver Valley Public Library. 3 copies of each book are circulating amongst the students, so they can help choose OBOK 2011.
One Book One Kootenay is an initiative of the Kootenay Library Federation, to celebrate the work of writers living in the Kootenay Boundary. 2011 is the third annual OBOK, but the first Reader's Choice OBOK. What does that mean to you? If you live in the Kootenay Boundary you can vote for OBOK 2011, at a Public Library near you.
The 3 shortlisted books are: Far From Botany Bay by Rosa Jordan, The Glass Seed by Eileen Delehanty Pearkes, and Living in the Shadow of Fisher Peak by Keith Powell.
